Car Carry

Category:

I wrote previously about my every-day carry. It’s in four parts:

  1. Things I carry on my person.
  2. Tools I keep in a backpack in my car.
  3. Personal items I keep in a satchel in my car.
  4. Things I keep handy in the console of my car.

The satchel and backpack are usually in front trunk of my Tesla, along with a portable tire pump.

My Car Backpack

The backpack is for keeping tools handy.

  • Some ordinary screwdrivers and a Wiha multi-driver
  • Rolls of 2″ black, 2″ white, and 1″ colored gaffer tape (These take up a ton of space, but they’re light, and I don’t need to fill the bag with hammers.)
  • A variety pack of wood screws and drywall anchors
  • Pliers (square and needle-nose) and wire clippers
  • Small bag of open wrenches and Allen wrenches
  • USB-A charger and, in little bags, several cables for various devices
