Two-Part Micro EDC Kit

I now carry a two-part leather EDC kit in the front pockets of my jeans, but I also think an even tinier kit using elastic adhesive pockets is neat idea. I got a some recently.

Black Elastic Adhesive Pockets

These sturdy little pockets are made to stick onto the back of your smart phone case and carry cash, ID, and a couple of cards to act as a minimalist wallet. But since you get a three-pack, what can you do with the other two? Well, you could stick them both together as a minimalist wallet. Or you could carry two tiny EDC kits in your front pockets.

As pictured, I’ve got a band-aid, mini-Sharpie, and small organizer tin in one and a 711L ratchet driver and Steinwhale stubby bits and extension, and cut-down ballpoint pen in the other. Since they have adhesive backs, you might print off an emergency info card, laminate it, and stick one on the back of one or both pockets.

The pocket on the back of your phone can hold an ID, cash, credit card, and bank card, but you could probably also get a lesser-used card into each of the others too.

The organizer tin contains my house key (I normally enter thru the garage), flash drive, compressed towelette, and a couple each of safety pins, screws, paper clips, and OTC pills.
